L’EDPS (acronimo di European Data Protection Supervisor) è il Garante europeo della protezione dei dati. Il compito di questa autorità di sorveglianza indipendente è garantire che le istituzioni e gli organi dell’UE rispettino il diritto alla protezione dei dati personali e alla privacy in fase di elaborazione di nuove politiche.
